21% of our country’s global warming pollution comes from US households. Surprising? Maybe, but the good thing is that we have the power to create a lot of change. If every US household cuts back 2/3 of their CO2 emissions we can save 800 million tons of global warming pollution. Now that is a big impact!
We Are The Winter is the brainchild of pro skier Jen Hudak. She dedicates her inspiration to her mother Cathy Van Dyke, a retired Environmental Consultant who spent many years fighting gender stereotypes while helping companies reinvent manufacturing to reduce their pollution and CO2 emissions.
We Are The Winter hopes to help people make good choices in their daily lives to minimize the footprint they are leaving on this earth. Simple tasks like turning off the lights and using public transportation can go a long way in reducing global warming causing pollutants. Together we can save this earth, because “We Are The Winter.”
